This 5 day tour will include exploring and walking around Leh's monasteries, hermitages and markets, crossing one of the highest altitude motorable roads in the world (Khardung La Pass) and experiencing a double humped camel ride across sand dunes. Explore the captivating beauty of the landscape dotted with colourful flowers and hermitages and monasteries, offering a unique cultural and natural experience in the Himalayas and a very beautiful experience at the same time.
Itinerary
5 Days / 4 Nights
Arrival at Leh Airport - Transfer to Accommodation (hotel) (4 Kms | Approximately 15 minutes)
- Arrival at Leh Airport and welcome by our representative.
- Departure and check in to a pre-booked hotel in Leh.
- Take rest to acclimatize yourself at high altitude.
- In the evening proceed to visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa.
- Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh and relax.
Sham Valley - Leh (140 Kms | Approximately 5-6 hrs.)
- After breakfast, depart for the Nubra Valley tour via Khardungla Pass (18,380 ft).
- Take short breaks at roadside cafes and beautiful photography points.

- After reaching Nubra Valley, check in to the hotel or camp there.
- After having lunch, take a lift for a camel ride between Hundar village and Deskit.
- Enjoy the ride of a double humped camel.
- Relax overnight at the hotel in Nubra Valley.
Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok River Road (150 Kms | Approximately 6-7 hrs)
- After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake (6-7 hours).
- Check in at the camp.
- Enjoy the Pangong Lake which is famous for its changing colors and then enjoy the sunset as well.
- After visiting here, stay overnight at Pangong Lake.
Pangong Lake – Leh (Polo Match & Cultural Show ) (140 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)
- In the morning, you can stand above the lake and enjoy a panoramic view of the sunrise.
- After breakfast, head back to Leh, stop at Thiksey and enjoy the traditional Ladakhi cuisine.
- Have lunch and visit Shey Monastery and Thikse Monastery and travel to Chuchot where you can enjoy cultural shows and Ladakhi polo matches showcasing the unique sporting heritage of the region.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh and relax.
Leh Airport Departure (4 Kms | Approximately 15 minutes)
- The morning starts again to depart towards your hometown.
- Flight board the plane and fly again to return back to your home.
- Conclusion this golden journey ends with the memories of Leh trip that will make it a part of your life.
