Itinerary
9 Days / 8 Nights
Manali - Jispa (139 kms / 5-6 hrs approx)
- Start your journey early in the morning from Manali to Jispa, crossing over and enjoying the majestic Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) and entering the Lahaul village.
- Explore the Raja Gyepan temple at Sissu village.
- Enjoy your lunch at Keylong.
- Afterwards drive to Jispa.
- Overnight stay in Jispa.
Jispa to Leh (335 kms/ 10-11 hrs approx)
- Start your day with an early breakfast in the morning and head towards Leh.
- Travel through Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) , Nakeela and Lachang La Pass (16,617 ft).
- Experience the breathtaking lanscapes there.
- After having lunch, continue your journey drive to Leh, passing through Skyangchu Thang, Tanglang La Pass (17,585 ft) and Upshi alongside the Indus River.
- Arrive to Leh and settle there for a while.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Leh local Sightseeing
- After breakfast, in the early morning, proceed for the sightseeing tour to beautiful Leh city.
- Make a visit to Shanti stupa and explore Hall of Fame museum.
- Also visit to Spituk Gompa and Leh fort.
- During evening, enjoy your leisure time.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Leh - Nubra valley (128 kms/ 4-5 hrs approx)
- Have breakfast, drive to Nubra valley through Khardung La Pass (the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft.).
- Making stops and taking short breaks at roadside cafes , take photos around the amazing view.
- Upon your arrival, check-in to the hotel/camp.
- After having lunch, enjoy an adventurous camel safari with double humped camels unique to ladakh and Mongolia at the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hundur village.
- Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Exploration of Hunder, Turtuk, Thang (190 Kms | 6-7 Hrs approx.)
- After breakfast, drive to Thang valley (the last village of India on the India Pakistan border), which was captured by the Indian army in 1971 war.
- On the way, visit Turtuk and Tyakshi.
- Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok River Road (150 Kms | 6-7 Hrs approx.)
- After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake at 14,500ft. with a drive of 6-7hrs.
- On your arrival at the camp, enjoy your given leisure time .
- Also witness the colour changing lake and the beautiful sunset on it's banks.
- Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
Pangong Lake – Leh (Polo Match & Cultural Show ) (140 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)
- Early morning, enjoy an amazing sunrise over the lake.
- After breakfast, drive back to Leh, with stops at Thiksey for a traditional Ladakhi cuisine lunch.
- After lunch visit Thiksey monastery and Shey monastery.
- Continue your journey to Chuchot while witnessing an amazing traditional Ladakhi Polo match and their cultural show, showcasing the region's unique sporting heritage.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Leh - Sham valley - Kargil (220 kms/ 6-7 hrs approx)
- After breakfast, leave for Kargil.
- On the way make a visit to magnetic Hill, Alchi Gompa, Lamayuru and the giant Maitreya at Mulbekh.
- By Evening arrive to Kargil .
- Overnight stay at Kargil.
Kargil - Srinagar (202 kms / 6-7 hrs approx.)
- After breakfast, Drive to Srinagar passing through Drass village.
- Make a visit to Vijay memorial hall and museum.
- On the arrival in Srinagar drop off from our booked hotel or houseboat.
- Finally, the journey concludes here.
