Darjeeling, often written Darjiling, is a Tibetan city in northeastern India's West Bengal state. It is located at an elevation of roughly 7,000 feet (2,100 meters) above sea level, 305 miles (490 km) north of Kolkata.The Sikkim Himalayas' long, thin mountain ridge that runs through Darjeeling rapidly lowers to the Great Rangit River's bed. On a clear day, Kanchenjunga (28,169 feet [8,586 meters]) is magnificently visible from the city, and Mount Everest is seen from a neighboring vantage point. The city's name translates to "place of the thunderbolt." The tourist seasons that see the most visitors in Darjeeling are April to June and September to November. The city is a hill resort.

NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport - Darjeeling (98 kms / 3 hrs)
On Arrival at NJP RLY Station/IXB Airport Meet and greet with our representative and just proceed towards Gangtok. On Arrival Check-in to hotel and rest whole day. Overnight stay at hotel.

Darjeeling Sightseeing:
Get an early start to watch the sunrise from Tiger Hill (attitude2590). Take a ride through the Batasia loop, one of the most beautifull Toy Train route. Stop at the centuries-old ghoom Monastry. After breakfast, proceed to Darjeeling sightseeing:

- Japanese temple
- Peace pagoda
- Darjeeling zoo
- Tenzing rock and Gombu rock
Spent the evening shopping. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
